Q. What are photo presets?

A. Presets are a set of editing adjustments that include things like exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity etc. Essentially, all of these adjustments determine how a photo will look. Presets can be applied to any photo with one click and are a great tool to easily achieve beautiful edits for your images. Our Visionary Collection presets are the exact same presets that we use when editing our photos for Instagram.

Q. What is a video LUT? 

A. A video LUT is a file that contains information about colors, saturation, contrast, luminance and hue. The lut is saved as a .Cube file extension and can be applied on your video footage. We have designed 5 exclusive LUTs that will provide versatile color grades and help achieve a professional cinematic look. Our versatile LUTs were designed to work best on RAW/Log video footage shot with a Mirrorless or DSLR camera, as well as drone footage. The LUTs can also be applied to videos shot on an iPhone or mobile device, when used with the proper editing software.

Q. What is the difference between the mobile presets and the desktop presets?  

A. Although the desktop presets are compatible with all image types, they are primarily designed for RAW images taken on high resolution Mirrorless or DSLR cameras. The mobile presets are designed for usage on your mobile device using the Lightroom Mobile App. They will work great on JPEG images (iPhone, cell phone images etc) and can even be used on high resolution images as well. Our mobile presets were designed slightly different than our desktop presets to ensure they are optimized for quick editing on your mobile device. 

Q. How to import the desktop or mobile presets?

A.  We have created a step by step installation guide, which will be automatically sent to you with your Visionary Collection presets upon purchase. Once downloaded, you will receive a PDF file with the step by step process for the installation of the desktop and mobile presets. For those that may not have access to a computer or laptop, you will also receive a link for our installation video that will show you step by step in detail how to install the mobile presets directly from your mobile device. You can also find the installation video on our IGTV!

Q. How do I import the video LUTs/Presets?

A. We have created a step by step installation guide, which will be automatically sent to you with your Visionary Collection Video LUTs upon purchase. Once downloaded, you will receive a PDF file that will guide you through the installation  process. NOTE: You can ONLY use the video LUTs/Presets on a Mac/PC desktop or laptop.

Q. What program do I need to be able to use the photo presets?

A. Our desktop presets are designed for the latest Adobe Lightroom desktop version (OSX / Windows). The mobile presets will only work when used with the free Lightroom CC mobile app. The video LUTs/filters are compatible with Windows, Mac, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut and DaVinci.

Q. Do the photo presets work on iPhone images? 

A. Yes! They work with all image types. Since every image is different not every preset will work on every single photo, you may need to do some slight tweaking after applying the preset to achieve a particular look. This can all be done in the Lightroom mobile app and is very easy to do. 

Q. I don’t shoot RAW photos, will the photo presets still work?

A. Shooting in RAW is recommended when using our desktop presets as it gives you access to all of the data within the photo and will compliment your high resolution images for the optimal quality. But, of course our presets will also work on all JPEG images, which includes iPhone/cell phone photos etc.

Q. I'm new to Lightroom, can I still use your photo presets?

A. Of course! Our presets are designed for all skill levels, especially for those with little editing knowledge to help you easily achieve beautiful edits on your photos with one click.

Q. If I buy a new computer or phone can I transfer my photo presets?

A. Once you receive your presets via email make sure you back them up on an external hard drive. You can do this by simply duplicating the zip folder then dragging it into the external hard drive folder. This way you have the presets stored safely forever and can easily transfer them in the future.

Q. Are your downloads instant? How do I receive them?

A. Yes, all of our downloads are instant. They are sent to you via email immediately after the payment process is completed.

Q. Which currency do you use?

A. We accept most currencies, and if you're purchasing in a different currency then your bank will convert the USD into your familiar currency.

Q. Will the video LUTs work on iPhone/Mobile videos? 

A.  Yes, the video LUTs can be applied to videos shot on an iPhone or mobile device, however the video footage must be uploaded to Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut in order to apply the LUTs onto the footage.
